Artist's Description
The iconic Red Church is located in Sonora, California. It was built in 1859 in the Carpenter Gothic style. Its board and batten exterior walls are of California redwood and are painted red. They had just put up the Christmas tree in late November while the trees were still in their fall colors.

Gary was voted the Union Democrat Newspaper's Readers Choice Award for "Best Photographer" in Tuolumne County for 2017, 2018 and 2019. Gary has been a member of the Professional Photographers of America since 2002 and earned his Masters of Photography degree in January of 2018.
