Description

There is never a bad time to take a photograph in Yosemite National Park, except during the mid-day sun. This image was photographed during sunset, giving Half Dome this beautiful orange-red color. To capture this angle of Half Dome, I had to hike up a steep roadway and then hike down after dark, using my head lamp. I actually added the full moon, for an artsy effect, that I had photographed from a different location.
