I photographed these horses in Southern Utah, just east of Zion National Park, during a lightning storm. The horses were running wildly around their corral, frightened by the flashes of lightning and the loud claps of thunder. If you look carefully at the image you will see large raindrops streaking by the horses as they ran. The little foal was trying to be protected as it ran next to its mother.
