Description

I was especially drawn to this location because it was less frequently photographed and I loved the Juniper Tree as my foreground element. I arrived about an hour before sunrise after carefully scouting this location the previous day. The sun came up in the perfect position for my composition. I also liked how the clouds formed a beautiful leading line by pointing to the sun. I used a small aperture (f/22) to create the beautiful sun star.
