Artist's Description

This image was taken in Florence, Italy at the Piazzale Michelangelo. This is a popular spot to capture the Arno River and the surrounding skyline. The large domed building is called "The Duomo", a Florence Cathedral. Although famous for it sheer size, look and beauty, has a ton of history behind it and is one of the most popular and well-respected monuments in all of Italy. The Duomo is as emblematic of Florence as the Eiffel Tower is of Paris, so a trip to this city definitely warrants a visit to this magnificent masterpiece.
