"The Narrows" is a slot canyon located inside of Zion National Park in Southern Utah. Most of the 3 to 4 mile hike is wading through the waters of the Virgin River. During the hike, I wore an insulated dry suit along with scuba booties and special non-slip boots. My camera was inside of a dry bag and was carried on my back in a back pack. I also rented a 5-foot long stick to remain balanced as I waded the river that varied between 1 to 3 feet deep. This long exposure shot (.8 seconds) was taken using my tripod to hold my camera.
